Rocks & Boulders

Walleye and sauger love hanging around rocky areas.  Rocky areas tend to hold all types of bait fish and the walleye and sauger will be close by to feed.  The key to fishing these rocky areas is to make sure you are as close to the rocks as possible without getting snagged up.  Vertical jigging with live bait, blade baits and jigging spoons will all work well around the rocks.  Casting or trolling crankbaits and spinner rigs will also take plenty of fish along the rocks as well.
