Primary Species of Fish

Secondary Species of Fish

Burt Lake

Burt Lake is a very good fishing lake.  It’s known for its good walleye fishing.  As good as its walleye fishing is, the smallmouth bass fishing may be just as good.  There are good numbers of fish to go along with some giants.  Northern pike, rainbow trout and muskie are here too. For the anglers targeting panfish, you can catch perch, crappie, rock bass and bluegill.

Mullet Lake

Mullet Lake is a great lake and it offers anglers a good chance of catching a trophy-sized fish for many different species of fish.  It’s an awesome smallmouth bass lake with a bunch of real big fish available.  Largemouth bass are here too.  Northern pike can be found in decent numbers and there are some very big fish in the lake too.  Mullet Lake can be a pretty good walleye lake too, however, most anglers report better fishing for walleye on nearby Burt Lake.  Rainbow trout are also here and panfish include perch, rock bass, crappie and bluegill.

Douglas Lake

Douglas Lake is another lake in this area and it offers some very good fishing for a variety of different fish.  Walleye are found in the lake, but it’s the northern pike and bass fishing that gets the most attention here.  Pike are here in good numbers as well as largemouth bass and smallmouth bass.  Panfish are available in good numbers so if you want some action, get out the finesse gear and live bait.
