Kodiak Island

Kodiak Island is a large island on the southern coast of Alaska and it is separated from the Alaska mainland by the Shelikof Strait.  Kodiak Island is the second largest island in the United States and it is mountainous, heavily forested in the north and east, but fairly treeless on the south.  This area is absolutely beautiful and the fishing can be amazing. Anglers can target 5 species of Pacific salmon, halibut, steelhead and other fish here.
