Big Pine Key and the Lower Keys have some very good fishing available offshore for a variety of different fish. This area of the Florida Keys doesn’t have a ton of offshore fishing charters available, so it may be easier to plan an offshore fishing trip in one of the other areas. If you do get to do some fishing offshore in this area, you may catch mahi mahi, wahoo, a variety of tuna, sailfish, marlin and many other species of fish.
