Welcome to our Alexandria Lakes, MN Home Page

The Alexandria area has a nice blend of lakes, wooded hills and open prairie.  Located in west central Minnesota, this area is very scenic with many recreational opportunities for the outdoors enthusiasts.  Boating and fishing is very popular in the area.

Primary Species of Fish

Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye

This area is home to some very good fishing for largemouth bass, northern pike and walleye.  Target one species of fish or all 3.  Either way, you have a lot of options when fishing this area.  Some trophy fish are available here, but there are quite a few lakes that offer very good action for decent to nice-sized fish.

Secondary Species of Fish

Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Crappie, Bluegill

Muskie are here and some big fish too, but not in great numbers.  Smallmouth bass are outdone by largemouth bass in this area, but you can still find some decent fish here.  The panfish can be good and you will find perch, crappie, bluegill and rock bass throughout the area lakes.
