Welcome to our Pelee Island Fishing Home Page

Pelee Island is a small, flat island, however, it is the largest island in Lake Erie covering about 16 square miles.  This island is used primarily for agriculture, although, it does have a small population of permanent residents.  The population increases during the summer and is a popular place to visit due to the ferry service that runs between Pelee Island and Sandusky, Ohio.  Fishing is very popular around the island.  It is a very good offshore fishing spot during the summer and fall months on Lake Erie.  Smallmouth bass are found in good numbers and big fish in the 4 to 5 pound range are common.  Huge walleye patrol the deeper waters out away from the island and when the schools of perch are around, you can catch a mess of them in a hurry.
