Primary Species of Fish

Walleye, Muskie

The Land of Lakes & Watersmeet areas are known for very good fishing for a variety of different fish.  Walleye and muskie get the most attention here from the majority of anglers.  You can find numbers of both species of fish depending on the lake that you are fishing up here.  Big fish potential is here too, especially for muskie.

Secondary Species of Fish

Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Perch, Crappie, Bluegill

There are so many lakes up here and many of the lakes have solid bass fishing.  Many are better largemouth bass lakes, but there are some good smallmouth lakes too.  Northern pike are here in many of the lakes and panfish such as perch, crappie and bluegill are here too.
