Welcome to our Porcupine Mountains Area Fishing Home Page

The Porcupine Mountains, or Porkies, are a group of small mountains spanning the northwestern Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Ontonagon and Gogebic counties.  This area is very close to Lake Superior.  You will definitely get away from the crowds if you plan a trip to this part of Michigan.  There are miles of rivers and streams to go along with some good fishing in the area lakes.  Anglers come here to fish for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, trout and a variety of sunfish.
