Jackson Lake

Jackson Lake is a very scenic lake and it also has some very good fishing for lake trout with other species such as cutthroat trout, brook trout and brown trout too.  You can find some guides that are available to go out on this lake.  Plan on doing some trolling on the lake if you fish here.  It is probably the most effective way to consistently put fish in the boat here.

The Snake River is our local river that runs right through Jackson. We offer both full and half-day float trips on many stretches of The Snake. On all of these sections, we primarily catch fine spotted Snake River cutthroat trout. These gorgeous fish are abundant and native to our region of the west. With over 60 miles of water to float on The Snake, we can choose a section to best suit the type of trip you are looking for.

Other Waters Here

There is a lot more water here, especially if you take a little drive.  There are private waters where you can get away from other people and have complete sections of the river to yourself, but you’re going to need to hire a guide service to get access to fish these areas.  For many people, the Snake River is enough, but if you want to go exploring, there is more water here to explore.
