Welcome to our Wheeler Lake Fishing Home Page

Wheeler Lake is the 2nd of 4 northern Alabama impoundments on the Tennessee River.  Sandwiched between Guntersville and Wilson Lakes, Wheeler Lake is often overlooked for some of the more famous Alabama impoundments.  There are plenty of anglers who enjoy fishing Wheeler Lake for a variety of fish including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, catfish and more.  Wheeler Lake runs around 60 miles and covers nearly 70,000 acres between the Guntersville and Wheeler Dams.  The lake has a lot of diversity in that you can fish major parts of the reservoir that will fish more like a river to go along with some large flats areas, backwaters and some nice deep water fishing options too.
