Welcome to our Crystal River, FL Fishing Home Page

The town of Crystal River, Florida features an actual river called Crystal River as well.  This river is six miles long and it connects Kings Bay with the Gulf of Mexico.  The river is also fed by some 30 springs.  The bay and river provide a variety of recreational water sports such as fishing, boating, swimming, diving and more.

This area has an enormous amount of inshore fishing opportunities to go along with some very good offshore fishing as well.  Anglers target many different fish such as redfish, sea trout, mackerel, bluefish, jack crevalle, flounder, sharks, cobia, grouper, snapper and flounder.

Inshore Fishing

The Crystal River area gives anglers access to tons of water inshore with the river here. There are grass flats throughout the river where most anglers fish for redfish and sea trout. There are a variety of other fish you can catch here too.

Offshore Fishing

The Crystal River area offers some very good offshore fishing, however, it’s a decent boat ride to get out of the river and out to the better fishing spots in the Gulf of Mexico. The target species will vary depending on the seasons, but this area will provide plenty of action year-round. Some of the fish you can catch here offshore are grouper, snapper, cobia, king mackerel, permit, amberjack, sharks and others.
