Lake Oconee Fishing

Lake Oconee is a popular recreational lake located about 85 miles east of Atlanta, Georgia.  The lake covers 19,000 acres and it offers good fishing for a variety of fish species.  Lake Oconee is known for its excellent crappie and striped bass fishing.  Mix in the quality catfish, largemouth bass and bluegill and there are plenty of options for anglers.
