Summer

Spotted bass are aggressive fish and they like to eat, however, in the summer, the fishing can become a lot tougher.  If you know how to fish deeper water, you can still catch plenty of spotted bass.  Some of the spots to key on are steep drop-offs, offshore humps, reefs, points, and deep weed lines.  In clear water, it’s tough to beat a drop shot rig with live baits or finesse-sized soft plastics.
