The Hackensack area has some very good fishing for largemouth bass. Don’t expect to find a bunch of trophy largemouth bass here, but 2 to 3 pounders are fairly common and most of the lakes in this area do have largemouth bass available. Most anglers up here like to fish for walleye, pike, muskie and panfish, so bass are usually very under fished.
