Bobbers or floats will work great when white bass are in the shallows. When anglers fish the river, a bobber is very common way to fish for them. Anglers will cast the bobber upstream and drift it downstream free of snags. Time the spawning run just right and this can be a great way to put dozens of white bass in the boat. Bobbers work well in lakes too, however, when the white bass go deep, you will need to use a slip bobber or another type of rig that get down deeper.
