Smaller, finesse worms are very popular on a drop shot rig and they will work well for white bass when they are actively feeding. Stick with the smaller finesse worms in the 3 to 4 inch range for the best results.
Ringworms
Ringworms are awesome on a drop shot rig. Go with a variety of colors, but often times, the bait fish color ringworms will work better since white bass love to feed on minnows.
Soft Plastic Minnows
Use the smaller 3 to 4″ soft plastic minnows on a drop shot rig and you’ll catch plenty of white bass. The 3″ minnows are the perfect size for action, while the 4″ minnows will work better for bigger white bass.
