The walleye fishing has been incredible in recent years on Upper Red Lake. There may be better lakes in the state of Minnesota for big walleye, but there aren’t too many places where you could go and catch more keeper-sized fish. Don’t expect to be fishing real deep water either when fishing here either because it’s not a very deep lake. Cover some water by trolling to find active fish, then break out the jigs and you should do well here.
