Northern Pike


There are a lot of northern pike in the Winnipeg river system.  Anglers will find pike wherever they fish, so don’t be surprised to find pike all over the various rocky structure you will find here.  The areas with weeds are great places to target pike too, especially the deeper weed edges.  Anglers that target pike here will catch good numbers of them with trophy fish up to 40 inches and bigger a real possibility as well.  When you upsize your lures for pike, don’t be shocked when you run into some muskie too.  These waters are home to some awesome muskie fishing too.
