Bullhead Catfish are fairly small. Most bullhead are only 5 to 8 inches long and any bullhead over 12 inches are considered nice fish throughout most of the country. Most anglers catch bullhead catfish while fishing for other types of fish with live bait. Bullhead will eat worms, minnows and small baitfish. Small pieces of cut bait fished on the bottom can be very effective, especially for bigger bullhead catfish. There are 3 different types of bullhead catfish: yellow, brown and black.
