Abram Lake

Abram Lake is located at the mouth of the Marchington River and it is where the Marchington River and the English River meet.  This lake provides good fishing for smallmouth bass, walleye, lake trout, muskie and northern pike.  It gets less fishing pressure than some of the other lakes in this area as well.

Northern Pike

Abram Lake is a very good northern pike lake.  Anglers catch lots of them and big fish are here too.  Fish up to and above 40 inches are possible.  This lake has current, plenty of bays, points, islands and offshore structure.  With so many good spots to fish, you’ll be able to find plenty of pike on this lake.

Smallmouth Bass

Abram Lake is a good smallmouth bass lake.  Early in the year, target the shorelines and then move to the islands, points and offshore structure from mid-summer through fall.  Anglers catch good numbers of bass here and big bass are here too.

Walleye

Walleye fishing is good on all parts of Lac Seul and it is no different in the Sioux Lookout area.  When anglers come to this area and ask the locals where they should go for walleye, most people will steer them to Lac Seul.  It’s just an amazing fishery where you can get numbers and big fish too.
