Live Bait Fish
Barracuda will go after most live bait fish and if you’re unfortunate enough, they may go after the fish you are attempting to catch. Lively bait usually works better because barracuda love the chase. As long as the fish you catch is legal to use as bait, try casting it back out on a heavier rod and reel for barracuda.
Cut Bait
Live baits work better, but barracuda aren’t real picky when they are hungry. A variety of cut baits will also work quite well for barracuda.
