Crappie
Crappie are a secondary species of fish on these lakes. They have been found in these lakes several years ago and they are continuing to grow in population. In the spring, it is easier to find them as they invade the shallows to spawn. Most anglers don’t come here to target crappie, but they do catch them while targeting walleye, bass and perch while fishing with live baits or smaller spinners and soft plastics.

Yellow Perch
These lakes are awesome perch lakes. Most people don’t come to Canada to target perch exclusively, but you can take a lot of them back home with you and they taste great. It’s a nice fish to mix in if you want some action and some extra fish to store in the freezer. Good numbers of them are here and big fish too. You will find them around rocks and weeds, shallow water cover and deeper water too. This lake is loaded with perch.
