Small to Medium Sized Pike (30″ and smaller)
When fishing on action lakes, you will usually catch a lot of pike in the 16 to 24 inch range with some bigger fish up to 30 inches long. If you rarely see a pike 30 inches or longer on the lake you’re fishing, then you really don’t need to go super heavy.
