Averill Lake is a 68 acre lake located in Vilas County.  It has a maximum depth of 5 feet.  Fish include musky, panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike and walleye.  According to the DNR, panfish are considered common in the lake while the other species of fish are listed as present.
