The Traverse City area is such a good smallmouth bass fishery, however, there are plenty of pike roaming the area waters as well. On the lakes with some good weed growth, just find the deeper weed edge and you should find plenty of pike. The lakes that don’t have a distinct deep weed edge might make it harder to located northern pike, but that doesn’t mean you won’t run into some of these fish too.
