Pickwick Lake is part of a river system and this system does have walleye and sauger in it. Most anglers don’t come here to fish for walleye or sauger, but you can target these fish and catch some if you know what you’re doing. By fishing below the dam during the colder months of the year, you’ll increase your odds of finding and catching some of these fish. Walleye and sauger are a secondary species on this lake, so don’t expect to find them out here in huge numbers.
