Jetty Beach
Jetty Beach is a long stretch of beach and it is one of the reasons why St. Andrews State Park is so popular for visitors to Panama City Beach, Florida. The beach area is super popular for families and other visitors. The jetty is popular for fishing and there are some excellent catches caught off the jetty.
Pier & Bridge Fishing
Bailey Bridge
The D. J. Bailey Bridge was built in 1946 to replace the old wooden bridge. The bridge was replaced in 1999 with a 4 lane bridge, but the old bridge still stands next to the new bridge and is used as a walking area and fishing bridge.
M.B. Miller County Pier
M.B. Miller County Pier is just shy of 1,500 feet. The pier is popular for fishing and just hanging out. Anglers catch a variety of fish off the pier year-round and the pier is open 24 hours, which is awesome for the anglers who enjoy fishing at night.
Russell-Fields City Pier
The Russell-Fields City Pier is located directly across from the main entrance to Pier Park. This is a very popular area as these are plenty of shops and restaurants just across the street from the pier. The pier extends more than 1,500 and it gives anglers excellent fishing opportunities for a variety of fish species. The pier is very popular for its breathtaking views with its white, sandy beaches, beautiful sunrises and sunsets to go along with a variety of marine life.

Surf Fishing
There are miles and miles of beaches available to fish in the Panama City Beach, Florida area. During the busy season, the beaches do get crowded, so you may have to get out there early in the morning or late in the evening to find your fishing spot. Anglers catch a variety of fish from the surf such as whiting, pompano, sharks, redfish, trout, flounder and more.
