Running the Beaches
In this area, there are plenty of anglers that will go out and run the beaches off of Panama City Beach, Florida. The warmer months of the year bring more fish through the area. The late spring and fall months are probably the best since so many fish are moving through the area then, but the summer months provides good fishing as well. Redfish, trout and black drum are in this area year round, but the warmer water brings tarpon, cobia, sharks, jacks, kingfish and more.
Nearshore Reefs & Wrecks
The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission has a great website that allows you to see reefs and wrecks on a map. Their Interactive Map Viewer is awesome, so feel free to check that out if you’re looking to structure fish the nearshore or offshore waters off of Panama City Beach, Florida.
