Kentucky

Cave Run Lake Fishing

Kentucky has always been a good state to fish for largemouth bass.  There are plenty of good places to fish to target good numbers of largemouth bass and some very big fish can be caught as well.  Some waters have been stocked with Florida strain largemouth bass and that has helped some anglers to catch some very big largemouth bass.  You won’t find as many giant largemouth bass in Kentucky’s waters as you will in Florida, Texas or California, however, there are so many places to fish where you can catch lots of 3 to 4 pound bass with occasional bass in the 5 to 7 pound range.
