The smaller minnow baits are great on a variety of jigheads and hooks. The larger minnow baits work great on a Texas rig, weightless Texas rig and on swimbait hooks.
Best Techniques
Hop Them Along the Bottom
You can us a jighead or drop shot rig to hop these baits along the bottom as well. Just work them along with some pauses and you can catch some largemouth bass this way.
Fish Them Slowly Through the Water Column
Use a lighter jighead or split shot rig to slowly fish these baits through the water column. It can be very effective when largemouth bass are feeding up in the water column.

Some of the 3 to 4 inch minnow baits look awesome on a drop shot rig with the shaky technique.
Jerkbait Retrieve
Soft minnow baits look great with a jerkbait retrieve. Use some of the bigger minnows in the 5 to 7 inch range and work them with an erratic jerkbait retrieve to target largemouth bass.
