Smallmouth bass are available in good numbers, however, you aren’t going to find good numbers of smallmouth bass all over the lake. Anglers will find better numbers of smallmouth bass in the areas with bluffs around Eisenhower State Park, Denison Dam and up the Washita River arm to the Willow Springs area. Most anglers have better success targeting smallmouth bass in the spring as these fish move into the shallows to spawn. If you can find them schooled up in deeper water during the summer and fall months, you may get into some quality fish too.
