White bass are found throughout Lake Barkley. Many anglers target them in the summer when they can find them schooling and feeding near the surface on bait fish. These “jumps” as many people call them can be super exciting if you are in the right place at the right time.
You can also find good numbers of white bass in the tailwater areas of both dams, so if you are around the Kentucky Lake or Lake Barkley dams in the spring, you can catch a lot of white bass if you time it right.
