Northern pike are considered an invasive species on the Kenai Peninsula. Most anglers come here for the awesome salmon and trout fishing, so you won’t find too many anglers seeking northern pike here. However, there are some anglers that do target them here and you can find some lakes and rivers in the area that do hold fishable populations of pike with some trophy potential too. They are very under fished here, so if you do find them, you should be able to find some active fish willing to hit most flashy lures that are known for catching pike.
