Redfish are a rare but possible inshore catch in Fort Lauderdale, typically found around backwaters, mangroves, or occasionally on flats. While not as abundant here as farther north, local anglers sometimes hook into them while targeting snook or trout. They’re hard fighters and respond well to a variety of artificial and natural baits.
