Arbutus Lake is a 163 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 28 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass and walleye. Panfish and largemouth bass are listed as abundant by the DNR.
Birch Lake
Birch Lake is a 466 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 75 feet. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. According to the DNR, panfish and walleye are common in this lake. Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and northern pike are considered present.
Bishop Lake
Bishop Lake is a 288 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 12 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass and northern pike. According to the DNR, panfish are abundant in the lake. Northern pike are common and largemouth bass are listed as present.
Butternut Lake
Butternut Lake is a 1246 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 42 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings. Fish include panfish, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. The lake’s water clarity is very clear. According to the DNR, smallmouth bass and walleye are listed as abundant. Panfish are listed as common and northern pike are listed as present.
Crane Lake
Crane Lake is a 355 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 25 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike and walleye. The lake’s water clarity is low. According to the DNR, panfish are abundant in the lake. Largemouth bass and northern pike are considered common and walleye are listed as present in the lake.
Franklin Lake
Franklin Lake is a 839 acre lake located in the Nicolet National Forest of Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 46 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. The Wisconsin DNR lists smallmouth bass, panfish and walleye as common on this lake, but many anglers report it is also a good northern pike lake even though the DNR has pike listed only as “present” for this lake. The water is very clear on this lake.
Hilbert Lake
Hilbert Lake is a 278 acre lake located in Marinette, Forest Counties. It has a maximum depth of 32 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. According to the DNR, panfish and largemouth bass are common in the lake. Smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye are listed as present.
Hiles Millpond
Hiles Millpond is a 306 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 5 feet. Fish include panfish and northern pike. They are both listed as common according to the DNR.
Julia Lake
Julia Lake is a 404 acre lake located in Forest, Oneida Counties. It has a maximum depth of 45 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include muskie, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, trout and walleye. According to the DNR, muskie are common in the lake. All other species of fish are listed as present.
Kentuck Lake
Kentuck Lake is a 1001 acre lake located in Vilas, Forest Counties. It has a maximum depth of 40 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings. Fish include muskie, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and walleye. According to the DNR, muskie, panfish, smallmouth bass and walleye are common in the lake. Largemouth bass are considered present.
Lake Lucerne
Lake Lucerne is a 1039 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 73 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, trout and walleye. The lake’s water clarity is very clear. According to the DNR, smallmouth bass are abundant in the lake. Walleye are listed as common and the rest of the species of fish are considered present in the lake.
Little Rice Lake
Little Rice Lake is a 1201 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 10 feet. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass and northern pike. According to the DNR, panfish and northern pike are common in the lake. Largemouth bass are considered present.
Little Sand Lake
Little Sand Lake is a 237 acre lake located in Forest, Langlade Counties. It has a maximum depth of 20 feet. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike and walleye. According to the DNR, panfish are common in the lake and all of the other species of fish are listed as present.
Long Lake
Long Lake is a 353 acre lake located in Forest, Florence Counties. It has a maximum depth of 21 feet. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass and northern pike. According to the DNR, panfish and northern pike are considered common in the lake. Largemouth bass are listed as present.
Luna & White Deer Lake
Luna Lake is a 64 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 35 feet. It is “no motor lake” so bring your small watercraft if you want to come here to fish for largemouth bass and panfish. It is a good largemouth bass lake for numbers with some quality fish too.
White Deer Lake is a 62 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 50 feet. It is “no motor lake” so bring your small watercraft if you want to come here to fish for largemouth bass, trout and panfish. This lake’s clear waters are also very deep. Many anglers report good success here by using lighter line with finesse tactics for largemouth bass.
Metonga Lake
Metonga Lake is a 2038 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 79 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. The lake’s water clarity is very clear. According to the DNR, smallmouth bass and walleye are common in the lake. Pickerel Lake
Pickerel Lake is a 1272 acre lake located in Langlade, Forest Counties. It has a maximum depth of 19 feet. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike and walleye. According to the DNR, panfish are abundant in the lake. Largemouth bass and northern pike are considered common. Walleye are present in the lake.
Pine Lake

Scattered Rice Lake

Sevenmile Lake
Sevenmile Lake is a 518 acre lake located in Oneida, Forest Counties. It has a maximum depth of 43 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings. Fish include muskie, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. According to the DNR, walleye are common in the lake. All of the other species of fish are listed as present.
Silver Lake

Three Johns Lake & McKinley Lake
Three Johns Lake is a 48 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 42 feet. It is “no motor lake” so bring your small watercraft if you want to come here to fish for largemouth bass and panfish. It is a good largemouth bass lake for numbers with some quality fish too.
McKinley Lake is a 48 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 20 feet. It is located close to Three Johns Lake and Butternut Lake. McKinley Lake is a decent largemouth bass lake with some panfish too. It is “no motor lake” so bring your small watercraft.
Trump Lake
Trump Lake is a 162 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 20 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike and walleye. According to the DNR, panfish, largemouth bass and northern pike are common in the lake. Walleye are listed as present.
