The summer brings consistent warm weather and temperatures are comfortable to fish all day here. In June, many of the species of fish are still feeding in the shallows. By July, the bite stays strong but moves deeper and most of the better quality fish will be found deeper through August.

You have a lot of options to ice fish here in the winter. With so many smaller lakes, anglers can get into many waters that may not be accessible with the bigger boats. For the anglers without boats, you have so many options with all the hard water here in the winters. Anglers target walleye, northern pike and panfish through the ice here.
