Running the Beaches

In this area, there are plenty of anglers that will go out and run the beaches off of Destin and Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  For many anglers, there is no reason to run the beaches with all the good inshore fishing here as well as some awesome offshore fishing.  However, many fish species migrate through this area in the summer and back again in the fall.  Nearshore, anglers target a variety of fish species such as tarpon, cobia, sharks, jacks, kingfish and more.
