Snook

Snook Fishing in Destin, Florida

Snook are more commonly associated with South Florida, but their range has extended into the Panhandle in recent years due to warmer water trends. While not abundant, snook are occasionally caught around inlets, bays, and backwater areas in Destin, especially during warmer months.

In the Destin area, snook may be found:

Near bridges, docks, and seawalls with good current
