Northern pike are definitely a secondary species of fish on Saginaw Bay, but there are fishable numbers here and there are some nice sized fish in the 30 to 39 inch range available and 40 inch plus fish are possible. Drifting live bait is probably the best way to find some of these giants, but you can cast and jig for them too. Trolling isn’t a bad option either.
