Medium Depths

The medium depth range for largemouth bass falls into that 6 to 12 foot range, not quite very shallow, not quite deep water.  This is the area that a lot of largemouth bass are found.  As bass get ready to spawn, you will see a lot of fish move into these depths before they go real shallow.  Even when bass go deeper after the spawn, you are still going to find a lot of bass in these depths.  You have a lot of lure choices for this depth range also.  Break out the casting gear and cast your favorite lures.  Crankbaits, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits and jigs are probably the most popular baits fished in these depths.  The soft plastics work great too.  Find some cover or structure and the bite will be better as well.
