Nelson Lake is part of a chain of lakes just west of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Nelson Lake has a navigable connection to Middle Cormorant Lake and Upper Cormorant Lake. Anglers can target walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, rock bass and perch.
