Bull Shoals Lake has some good fishing for crappie in the spring as these fish move into the shallows.  There are big crappie to be caught with 2 pound fish and bigger possible. During the rest of the season, fishing for crappie is tougher as these fish will be found deeper.  When they school up in the fall, if you can find them, you can catch some nice fish in a hurry.  Bluegill are here as well and they can be caught in good numbers in the spring when they move shallower to spawn.  For the rest of the season, the bigger bluegill and other bream will be found in deeper water.
