Amelia Lake (Douglas County, MN)


Lake Amelia is a 910-acre mesotrophic (moderately fertile) lake located 4 miles northeast of Glenwood in Pope County.  It is the lower basin in a chain of three lakes (LevenVillardAmelia).   Lake Amelia is managed for walleye and there is a good population of walleye in this lake.  Northern pike and largemouth bass are abundant in this lake.  You can also catch bluegill, crappie, perch and rock bass.
