Venice Inlet is located to the north of the city of Venice. The inlet divides northern Venice from the barrier island Casey Key. Anglers use the inlet to go out and fish the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Many anglers fish the inlet too as there are so many species of fish that move through the water here on a daily basis. The tidal changes are key to catching good numbers of fish in and near the inlet.
