Learn more about the nearshore fishing in the Stuart, Florida area.
Running the Beaches
In this area, many anglers head out of the inlets to go run the beaches to fish the nearshore waters. It is more common to see anglers do this during the warmer months because more fish will be in this area from late spring through fall. Redfish, trout and black drum are in this area year round, but the warmer water brings tarpon, cobia, sharks, jacks, kingfish and more. The mullet run can be a very exciting time to run the beaches during the fall months.
Nearshore Reefs & Wrecks
