Cocoa Beach Pier


The Cocoa Beach Pier is a great spot for anglers to fish if they want some access to deeper water and they don’t have a boat. From the pier, you may catch sheepshead, flounder, pompano, tarpon, sharks, Spanish mackerel, whiting, flounder, redfish, trout, whiting, bluefish and others.



Jetty Park


Jetty Park is a popular park at Port Canaveral.  The park gives people access to the beach and a jetty.  Many people come here just to hang out and enjoy the ocean while others come here to target a variety of saltwater fish in the inlet.



Fish the Beaches


There are miles of beaches along the Space Coast, so you can definitely do some surf fishing if that’s what you’d like to do while visiting this area.

From the surf, anglers usually target whiting, pompano, redfish, Spanish mackerel, black drum, sheepshead, sharks and other species of fish are also possible. There are plenty of places to fish along the beaches here.  Fish during the tidal changes and you should be able to catch some fish from the beach in this area.
