Billfish like sailfish and marlin are rare visitors in the far offshore waters accessible from Cape San Blas and Port St. Joe. These prized pelagics are typically found beyond 70 miles offshore where deep drop-offs, rips, and bait-rich currents align. Though not a frequent target in this region, they offer an epic challenge when conditions are right and the long run offshore is made.
