Matlacha Pass Bridge
The Pine Island Causeway is a roadway in Southwest Florida that spans the entire Matlacha Pass. The bridge connects Pine Island, which is the longest island in Florida, to the mainland in Cape Coral. There are 3 bridges that make up this entire causeway. Fishing can be very good from the bridge. Anglers fish off the bridge, but it can get crowded during the busy season, so get out there early if you want to get a good spot. Anglers catch a variety of fish off the bridge such as mangrove snapper, snook, redfish, sea trout, black drum, sheepshead and more.
