The inshore waters of Palm Coast and Flagler Beach are home to a variety of saltwater species that you can target in the backwaters, creeks and some larger, open inshore waters as well up in the Palm Coast area. The Matanzas River runs through these towns and as you get further south towards the Flagler Beach / Ormond Beach area, anglers fish the Halifax River. The Palm Coast / Flagler Beach area receives less fishing pressure than the towns up north and down south and there are enough fishing charters to get you out on the water. Plan on fishing shallower water for redfish, sea trout, flounder, snook, black drum, mangrove snapper, sheepshead and more.
