Winchester Bay is a small village that is a popular port town for people who enjoy being on the water. It is known as the “Crab Capital of the World” and many people enjoy coming here to catch some fresh Dungeness Crab for the dinner table. The Oregon Coastal Dunes are also a popular attraction. Fishing is good for salmon, lingcod and rockfish. Anglers fish the ocean and in the Umpqua River.
